Mega Blood Donation Camp

We are pleased to inform you that Ahmedabad Medical Association is organizing a mega blood donation camp, with an aim to create awareness about voluntary Blood donation.
We thus request you to donate blood as a good cause, for which the details have been mentioned below:

Date: 13th June 2010, Sunday

Time:  8.00 am onwards

Venue: Gujarat University Exhibition Centre,
            Helmet square,
            132’ ring road,
            Drive in Road,
            Ahmedabad.

Target: To collect maximum number of blood units on a single day at a single site.

Future: Ahmedabad as a Model and to create permanent structures where safe Blood is
  available to all without replacement in Gujarat.

• Dr. Harshuti Biren Shah (paediatric neurologist) has been awarded Gold Award for research paper in the International Child Neurology Symposium on Neurometabolic Diseases in Children held on 23 – 27th March 2010 at Taepei, Taiwan. The research paper was on DNA mutations of Galactosemia in Indian population.

• Rutvik Dave (Std XI) S/o Dr. Dilip Dave has won second prize in Poster competition in national science day celebrations arranged by PRL (Physical research Laboratory) in March 2010.

• Dr. Anil Shah – Psychiatrist has been awarded Life Time Achievement Award by the Bombay Psychiatric Society for the year 2010.

• Dr. Rahul S/p Dr. C.M.Gupta received “Padmashree Prof. Dr. S.Kameswaran Gold Medal” Award in Otorhinolaryngology for the year 2009 from National Board of Examination, Ministry of Health and Family Planning Govt. Of India, New Delhi on 5th April 2010.
